We are looking for a finance & administration specialist with experience in the function within an international company, eager to get involved in a challenging and fast-growing project in which you will be able to develop professionally reporting directly to the plant director.

Fagor Electronica has been developing and manufacturing electronic components with European cutting-edge technologies for more than 55 years and it’s now expanding its business with the opening of a new production plant in Gebze.

The headquarters are located in the Basque Country, north of Spain, and we additionally have production plants in Thailand and Mexico, as well as more than 20 commercial offices all over the world, employing a total number of 500 people.

Fagor is part of the Mondragon Corporation, one the 10th largest business groups in Spain with 120 companies and 85.000 workers all over the world, including more than 15 years of experience manufacturing in Turkey.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountancy: Responsible for keeping all legal books updated reflecting all the financial movements’ reality in SAP. Support the matrix company with the monthly closing process preparing all required reportings.
  • Invoices: Account all the domestic and import invoices from suppliers, being the main contact with these vendors for only the financial issues. As well as control general expense suppliers for assuring a correct invoicing process.
  • Payments: Due date management and execution of payments to suppliers.
  • Taxes: Responsible for the coordination with the CPA advisory company in order to keep all tax declarations under control and reflect them correctly in the accountancy.
  • Cashflow: Assist the headquarter to plan and follow the quarterly cashflow forecast together with the Plant Director.
  • Investments: Register and follow approved investments and manage amortizations.
  • Payrolling: Assist the outsourced advisory for the correct payroll accountancy as well as managing all compulsory documentation related to the topic.
  • Administration: Support actively in additional administrative tasks that might show-up related to the recent company start-up in January 2023.

Qualifications

  • Economics related bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working within the function in an international company or in contact with international stakeholders.
  • English proficiency is a must. Spanish is a plus.

Skills

  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Care for the details.
  • Smooth communication competence to coordinate with mother company in Spain.

Knowledge

  • ERP knowledge compulsory. SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Payment methods knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of domestic accountancy, fiscality and auditing.
  • Microsoft Excel advanced knowledge.
